Bringing together applied science and industry, SAL offers research in the areas of Sensor Systems, Intelligent Wireless Systems, Power Electronics and Embedded Systems. The position will be located within the Sensor Systems Photonics group to support the automation and control of photonic systems by developing software for data acquisition, user interfaces and embedded hardware control. - Development of novel magnetic resonance imaging setup for quantum vector magnetometry using nitrogen vacancy defects in diamond
- Laser tweezing, micro- and nanoparticle manipulation
- Applied optics design and experiments, optical engineering
- Experimental work, proof of principle experiments, feasibility studies
- Data processing, programming and automation of lab setups
- Scientific dissemination
