Your future responsibilities
Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) is looking for a Master student for a 6 month contract. This role is generally responsible for the design and implementation of FPGA systems under the guidance of a senior member of staff. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate (or in the process of graduating) who is looking to get into FPGA design.
- Designing digital circuits using FPGA technology and SoC (e.g. Zynq), including selecting the appropriate FPGA, designing the circuit architecture and coding the logic in a hardware description language (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Verifying the design and functionality of the digital circuits using simulation tools and performing tests on a physical FPGA board.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for the FPGA design, including schematics, test plans and user manuals
- Develop and partition digital system architecture
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with other SW/HW developers to rapidly deliver integrated systems.
