Your future responsibilities
In today’s world, point-of-care devices such as glucose monitors have become ubiquitous, but their disposal contributes significantly to environmental waste. At SAL, we aim to address this issue by designing eco-friendly point-of-care devices fabricated using scalable technologies, particularly printing on biodegradable materials. Toward this goal, we aim to develop a two-component hybrid patch for sensing and measuring bio analyses using printing technologies. This Master's thesis aims to investigate and explore strategies to couple the electrochemical sensing patch and measuring patch. The thesis will involve various activities aimed at achieving this goal. The following activities will be partaken as part of this thesis.
- Perform literature review (scientific articles, patents, etc.)
- Support integration activities with printed biosensors
- Electrical, and mechanical characterization and analysis of the printed electronic system.
- Provide recommendations to improve the system's performance.
- Perform data analysis and prepare reports.
