Your future responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging written and visual content for social media, website, news articles, and various media platforms.
  • Public Relations: Prepare press releases, respond to media inquiries, assemble media kits, and assist with interviews. Track and analyze media coverage.
  • Event Organization: Plan and execute events such as press conferences and other public engagements.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Internal Communication: Manage internal communications to ensure consistent messaging and information flow within the organization.
  • Representation: Act as the representative for the Head of Communications in her absence.
Your profile
  • You have several years (>5) of professional experience in PR and communications. Solid education in communications, marketing, PR, or a related field is advantageous.
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
  • You have a love for language and copywriting, with the ability to simplify complex content into clear, understandable messages.
  • You are creative and love to think about new ways to promote our research. 
  • You are self-reliant, enjoy working in a team, and share our enthusiasm for new technologies and innovation.

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group E (E1 salary = EUR 3.827, paid 14 times a year) based on 38,5 hours per week). With potential for overpayment, depending on qualifications, training and professional experience.

At three locations (Graz, Villach, Linz), SAL is conducting research along the entire ESBS value chain in the areas of sensor systems, power electronics, intelligent wireless systems, microsystems and embedded systems to develop future-oriented solutions for industrial production, health, energy, mobility, safety and more.
