Your future responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced research engineer leading the development of ion-trap chips (ITCs) at SAL. You will become part of a highly motivated, international team committed to realizing the building blocks of next generation quantum technology. Your work will be embedded in an international collaborative network.
- Coordinate ITC development and fabrication across different research units and cleanroom facilities.
- Execute small-scale fabrication and prototype for ITC devices in cleanroom facilities utilizing 200 mm wafer-level technology.
- Coordinate testing of developed ITC devices.
- Co-develop the design, fabrication and technological advancement of ion trap chips.
- Perform quality control and documentation for the statical process control.
- Communicate and report research findings to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
