Your future responsibilities
The Research Unit Architectures & Topologies is looking at novel topologies for different converter applications, the use of passive technologies within circuits and the use of new device or module technologies for power converters.  

The Power Electronics Division, specifically the Research Unit Architectures & Topologies in Graz, is looking for a new Altium Library Manager for its current projects. In this role you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Altium component library, supporting the design process and assisting with software onboarding and licence management. In addition to library management, you will have the opportunity to contribute to PCB design, hardware prototyping and testing, depending on your skills and experience.   • Library Management & Component Creation
    • Creating and adding new components to the Altium library
    • Reviewing and releasing components in accordance with the design process
    • Ensuring component data accuracy and compliance with internal standards
  • Altium Software & License Support
    • Managing and maintaining Altium software licenses
    • Providing onboarding support and training for new colleagues using Altium
  • Additional Technical Support (Based on Experience)
    • Managing ordering components for hardware design
    • Designing schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs)
    • Assisting in hardware prototyping and circuit soldering
    • Designing, operating and maintaining 3D printing
    • Performing measurements, tests and commissioning
Your profile
  • HTL or higher education in electrical engineering, electronics or a related field 
  • Hands-on experience with Altium Designer in an industrial or similar environment 
  • Strong motivation to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary and industrially relevant research environment
  • Experience in one of the additional tasks listed (e.g. PCB design, prototyping, soldering, 3D printing, knowledge of PCB manufacturability and/or testing) is a plus 
  • First experience with PCB commissioning 
  • Self-contained, organised and structured work approach 
  • Willingness to relocate to Graz, Austria 
  • English skills (mandatory) to work in our multidisciplinary and multicultural team

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group D. We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your experience and qualifications. For this position, your minimum monthly salary starts with EUR 3.252,00, paid 14 times a year.
