Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) is a leading research center at the forefront of electronic and software-based systems, driving innovation in key areas such as sensor systems, power electronics, and intelligent wireless technologies. To strengthen our Communications & Public Relations team, we are looking for a creative and strategic professional who is passionate about shaping our public presence, telling impactful stories, and supporting our mission to bridge cutting-edge research with industry and society.
Your responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning, Budget Responsibility & Mentorship
- Define annual communication goals in alignment with corporate strategy and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Plan and monitor the communication and marketing budget and ensure cost efficiency
- Coordinate and organize communication initiatives with management and stakeholders (public relations, social media, press conferences, other events…)
- Mentor team members and foster collaboration with other departments
- Organize, plan and contribute to media and public relations activities, such as press releases, video production, interview preparation
- Develop and manage content across multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, and websites
- Create communication materials and presentation content, including flyers, brochures, annual reports and merchandise
- Maintain and update website and content, including the SAL website and several project websites
- Coordinate and distribute internal newsletters and updates
- Support the preparation and communication for company-wide meetings
- Manage and maintain internal communication platforms and collaboration tools (e.g. intranet)
- Plan, organize and execute SAL events (internal & external)
- Collaboration with our Business Development colleagues
