Senior Equipment Maintenance Engineer – Semiconductor Fabrication (f/m/d)

Your future responsibilities
In the network of science and industry, SAL offers research in an ISO5 Cleanroom with high end cleanroom equipment.

Your future tasks include:
  • Maintenance of high-end cleanroom equipment from the leading semiconductor equipment manufacturers
  • Defining methodologies for clean room maintenance as part of SAL Cleanroom maintenance team 
  • Working together with leading equipment manufacturers to develop state-of-the-art processes
  • Defining maintenance plans for the equipment together with process engineers
  • Coordination of service operations  

Your profile
​  
  • Min. 7 years of experience as a maintenance/equipment service engineer in semiconductor cleanrooms, preferably in an industrial environment
  • An enthusiastic team player, yet able to independently solve complex problems with limited supervision
  • Reading and understanding of technical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Works advantageous
  • Oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge of German is a plus
  • Willing to work in a multicultural environment

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group E. We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your experience and qualifications. For this position, your minimum monthly gross salary starts with EUR 3.827, paid 14 times a year.
