Your future responsibilities
- Participate in the daily project work which can include microfabrication, simulation, measurements, meetings with project partners, documentation, scientific article writing, or administrative work.
- Collaborate with process engineers in building up relevant infrastructure in the cleanroom
- Contribute or lead the ramp-up characterization tools in the magnetic lab
- Applied research on magnetic thin films, spintronics, magnetic microsystems and their applications aiming for novel device innovations and industrial process developments with 200-300 mm pilot line capabilities.
- Actively participate with new innovations in spintronic and MEMS devices
- Contribute or lead new projects and cooperations with the industry as well as national and international funding program participations (HE, FFG, Chips JU, ...)
- Contribute or lead networking and acquisition of international partners from industry and academia
- Scientific communication, reporting research results in tech documentation and/or in high-level scientific journals, participate in international conferences and drive technical innovation to IP generation
